My students are residents of a small community near St. Louis that is in transition. Many are struggling to understand the new challenges in the community and are depending on their school environment for security more than ever. They are beautiful, remarkable children with bright smiles, eager minds, and endearing personalities. They attack the day with passion, determination, and a joyful spirit. Many of our students come from families experiencing severe poverty and instability but they are determined and committed to being the best they can be!

About my class
