The Chromebooks will be used for research purposes such as primary documents, historical events, structure of U.S. Government, and current events. In addition, students will use the Chromebooks for projects. For example, students will create presentations in PowerPoint and write essays in Word. A fun component I try to incorporate into my curriculum is review games. Students will compete by playing various Jeopardy style review games and Kahoot to enhance their understanding of the material. Another important usage of the Chromebooks will be for vocabulary purposes allowing struggling students to practice online flashcards. Having these Chromebooks available in my classroom will help my students apply Civics to the real world and their community.
