The tablets will be used specifically for the Accelerated Reading Program. In this program, students check out books in the library that are on their reading level, and then test on the book to earn points. With the tablets, students will be able to locate books, and test on them in the classroom. The more A.R. books students read, the more their reading level goes up! The tablets will also be used to access learning websites that provide support with Reading, Math, and Language skills. The tablets will also be used as a positive reinforcement that students can earn for good behavior choices.
