Our third grade classroom is in a small rural K-6 school. There are around 20-25 students per each classroom. Students here primarily come from farming families; however, some are brought to our school from our local town about 10 miles away. The school has been here since the 1950's, and I attended here as a child as well. We have many supportive parents that read and work with their children at home, but we lack a lot of the technology seen in newer schools. Our parent organization purchased one iPad per classroom this past year, and mine has been used every single day for several periods a day.
