My students are eager, creative 10 year-olds who love to learn. Of course they moan and groan as they are handed their homework at the end of the day, but they return the following morning with completed work and smiles on their faces. Most of my students do not have the luxury of going home to expensive technology and internet access, so my colleagues and I work very hard to provide opportunities at school for children to learn with technology and develop responsible technology habits. I teach in a district with high poverty, but it is a community of hard-working families who care about the education of their children and trust their school to prepare their children for a prosperous future.

About my class
