I teach 1st grade at a wonderful Title One Elementary School in Northern California. The school population is comprised of mostly lower middle class families. We have almost 70 percent of our students on the free or reduced lunch program. Also, over 50 percent of our students are English language learners with academic abilities ranging from GATE to special needs. The children are hard-working students and we want to do the best we can to help them succeed in school. Sometimes, we cannot get ALL the necessary materials from school so we need to take advantage of programs such as Donors Choose. We are thankful for this opportunity and hope that you can help us!

About my class
