My students are my heart. They are brilliant, outgoing, caring and thoughtful little people! They have so much to offer but many of them are lack adequate resources that so many other children are provided. The students we serve come from impoverished families, foster care system, are homeless, come from single parent families, or are living with family members other than their parents. Our school's goal is to provide the most effective and sufficient education that these children deserve while working closely to provide resources for families in crisis or need.
Because it is not feasible to ask these families for donations for our classrooms, it becomes very tough to have the appropriate and well-deserved supplies and materials for our children. This is where members of our community have the opportunity to show their support. It also lets our children and families know the true value of education; that complete strangers are willing to be the ones who make a difference!
