Just like adults, students get tired of sitting in hard chairs all day, too. Studies have shown that students learn better when they are physically active and comfortable. They need more flexible and comfortable seating choices to enhance their engagement and learning. The seating option that will be provided with this project are wobble stools and bean bag chairs. These chairs will give my students the opportunity to sit comfortably and move around while they are learning. I want them to feel comfortable and at home in our classroom. This project will significantly help my students stay engaged in their learning throughout the day. I cannot wait to see all of the excitement and engagement with our new flexible seating!
