I work in a school with 50% of the student population receiving free or reduced lunch. Many of my students are living in poverty and chaos at home. They come to school at a disadvantage and I want to do anything I can to help them succeed. My kids are vibrant, inquisitive and loving. They work hard but need lots of positive encouragement and need to learn the necessary skills to be a good global citizen.
