My students are absolutely amazing. Some of them have come to our school with an eagerness to learn, some are here as almost a last chance to improve themselves. Our school is much smaller than your public high school, so every teacher knows almost every student by name. We are able to cultivate relationships where the students know we care about them and that they want them to be successful. The students appreciate that in the teachers, even if they don't like it at first.
