I just want to start off by saying that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my school and my students. I am passionate about the work I do every day. I teach music and technology at a Title 1 school in Denver. The teachers at my school are amazing, and they create a passion for learning in the students. My goal is to equip them with the musical and technological tools they need as well as to help them have world class experiences in these content areas. My students love making music, and every club I start fills up beyond my instrument capacity! I spend a lot of my free time traveling to pick up donated instruments and computers as well as working on them to get them in the hands of these students. It is hard work, but it is IMPORTANT work. Technology skills are essential for success in the adult world, and I am helping students to become self-driven learners of technology. Music opens mind and empowers the soul!
