My students have not had the advantages of modern technology. We are just now starting to catch up to the technological age. Our IT department is getting better every day but there are some forms of technology that still are not readily available to us. Microscopes are excellent examples of this. My students do not have the life experiences of most other students and have not had the opportunity to see things that can enhance their education. As such, things like microscopes and prepared slides allow them to experience things in a manner outside their textbooks. These real-life connections are essential to my students continued growth. We appreciate any help we can get our our path to becoming educated adults.
