I teach at a public PK-3rd grade school in Louisiana. Our suburban community has endured many hardships over the past few years, including devastating hurricanes and a man-made oil disaster; throughout all of these trials, we have persevered and continue to strive for excellence in all that we do. My students come from various backgrounds and function at many different levels. My class normally contains students in our gifted program, as well as those who need additional resource time. We are a tight community, brought on by the family environment of our school and the mini-society we create in our classroom.

About my class
