These calculators will assist my current and future students with their understanding of math and science. The students get stuck on many of the single and multi-step problems because they wrestle with the calculations. Each student in the class has learning disabilities that make it more difficult to think about what calculation they have to make and then to do the operation in a logical process. If they do not have to worry about the calculation, they can concentrate on the process and increase their ability to do more complex problems. The objective is to prepare my students for success in high school. Students will use calculators in high school and it will help them to have and learn how to use them before they get there.
