My class will use these amazing hands-on Magna-Tiles to practice problem solving, engineering skills and learn to plan and create small projects and create child-centered solutions to design challenges. Students will be encouraged to share their experiences and develop increased language skills while explaining what they have created. Magna-Tiles will allow students to work together to find solutions to STEM-based projects that will increase their understanding of design and magnetism. These materials are child-centered and will help students develop fine motor skills and improve their ability to plan and communicate in small groups. They will also help students with planning and carrying out projects using engaging materials that can be reused many times.
