Many times throughout the school year we are expected to perform in outdoor venues, we sometimes travel to performances that may not provide the basics such as chairs and stands and on occasion we have to loan all of our equipment to the school that is hosting our District Music Performance Assessment but we still have to have the ability to rehearse our music during class without the necessary equipment to do so! It also becomes very cumbersome to load the non-portable music stands off campus anytime we travel because of how bulky they are and how much space they take up. Having a class set of folding music stands will ensure that my students will have the necessary equipment we need to be able to read our music no matter where we are and no matter the circumstances. Those families that are not financially able to purchase a music stand for their student's use at home can have the ability to check out one of the folding music stands on a temporary basis so they can practice at home and maintain proper playing posture, ensuring that they always sound their best. My students work incredibly hard to prepare for their performances and I want to make sure that they have the equipment that they will need to demonstrate the fruits of their labor no matter where that performance is.
