I work in a special education school and I have a class of 6th grade students who are on the autism spectrum. They are interesting and lovable students who are exploring their new school. My students are learning skills, such as toileting and feeding, which will make them more independent as they get older. I have a mixture of students who are verbal and nonverbal that need appropriate technology and resources to help them communicate and learn basic skills. My school is a special education school that caters to students with various disabilities by teaching them the necessary life skills that they need to be independent and capable people.
