My students are a wide range of learners. They are part of a 1600 student campus that makes up the largest public high school in Northern Arizona. They are native Spanish speakers and first time language learners all working together in a safe, supportive, fun learning environment. Learners in my classroom come from a variety of backgrounds. Many are involved in extracurricular activities and most hope to graduate on-time and attend at the very least, a community college in order to better their future. They understand that acquiring Spanish can help them attain better jobs and be a more valuable employee post graduation. They are kind, courteous and excited learners. Our school is a large, traditional, proud, and inspiring campus where all types of students are welcome, yet honoring traditions and being proud of our school's past is taken seriously.
