Our classroom is comprised of approximately 25 Kindergarten students who come from predominantly low income households. We are located in West Miami Dade and are a Title 1 school. Most of my students have not had the opportunity to attend day care and are in school for the first time. They are energetic and ready to learn and are eager to connect what we have learned to hands on activities. Being able to provide them with engaging lessons using manipulatives, technology and real world examples would only enhance their educational experience! I want to provide my students with a positive and nurturing classroom environment where they can thrive in school and in their community.

About my class
