Our current equipment is well-used and aside from playing their sport, our athletes have unintentionally become experts at repairing their equipment on the fly. While this may sound kind of neat, it takes away from valuable practice or play time every time we have to rig a piece of equipment mid-way through a practice or event. Having the access to some fully functioning sports equipment makes all the difference. Our female athletes benefit from our sports program in many ways beyond what is usually seen. Our athletes learn diversity, respect, and camaraderie, among other things. My aim is to continue supporting our athletics and continue finding ways to keep us properly equipped with basketballs, bats, catcher's sets, and softballs. It is so very important that we keep our program going as we support our girls on their path to becoming successful women.
