Hello, I'm a special education teacher in Lakewood, New Jersey! I teach in an inclusive 3rd grade class. My students are primarily of Spanish decent and many of their parents do no speak English. Many of my students are one or two years behind grade level and struggle in the mainstream classroom primarily because of the language barrier. Despite it all, my students appreciate every opportunity to learn. For this to happen, my classroom must have adequate resources to provide enriched learning.
