Our students come for a low socioeconomic background and this is an alternative school, so our funds are very low. Red Ribbon is very big in our district and we like to go all out, one day out of the week with a goodie bag. Most of our students come to us because of drug infractions and it is important to teach an alternate behavior. So our counseling staff would like to provide our students with a goodie bag and include some items that will help them learn and a snack during Red Ribbon Week. Every year during the month of October we make the week a fun filled with information about staying away from drugs and alcohol and the effects that it has on the body. We would like to continue that this year.

About my class
