The rug is a soft area for the children to crawl on, practice sitting (up), rolling, and practicing other gross motor skills. The “Float-and-Find Alphabet” helps teach the children to match letters using eye-hand coordination while the materials are in a suspended environment. Flex-Scissors help children who are not yet strong enough to cut with traditional scissors. The Pre-Writing Magnetic Board uses the children’s fine motor pincer grasp to hold the magnetic wand as they trace more intensive lines than straight lines. Preschool children with special needs will utilize these and other materials to help them develop and enrich many skills.
