The calculators needed in my class must have the trigonometric functions and their inverses. Students devices are not uniform, some students have different types of calculators while some do not have a calculator at all. These scientific calculators are a valuable resource that many students cannot afford. The calculators will assist students in homework assignments and give them the extra help needed to complete assessments. These devices give my students the support they need without the ability to connecting to the internet. We will use the calculators to better understand the trigonometric functions by solving right triangles using the three basic trig functions and the inverse functions.
