We are at a Title 1 school in an impoverished area. Most of my students come from low income almost non-existent families and are transient which is heartbreaking for me. I have tried my personal best to make our classroom bright, interactive and inviting to give them those experiences that they lack from home. While our school tries its best to provide students with what they need, they recently cut the art program and it is now non-existent in our school. This is why I feel so strongly and am reaching out for the donation of these art supplies which I simply cannot afford to provide all the students with.
