Our 6th grade students this year have been bragged upon ever since they started school 6 years ago. I have been looking forward to meeting them since I began teaching in my building three years ago. They are pleasers. They get along very well and have high respect for each other. They put so much effort into their work and are very proud of their accomplishments. Also, our school has a high percentage of free/reduced lunch, which makes us a low income school. With that being said, our school's entire staff has a heart for kids. We love all our students and work very hard to give them the best education possible. Our school follows the PBIS model and it works great for our school, staff, and students. We have approximately 500 students, and we are a K-6 building. Not only did I attend my school, but my children attend my school. When I bought our home I made sure it was in my school's area so my kids were sure to attend this school I am lucky enough to teach at.
