I have included in my materials various games and sensory items. My students struggle with completing work, so I want to provide them with positive challenges and games to motivate them to finish their classwork. Also since they struggle, they sometimes get frustrated and need to cool back down. I have challenging games that aren't based on academic knowledge but general understanding and problem solving which my students are capable of. Also I have sand and liquid hour glasses as deescalation tools and academic games that will support repetition and learning of skills they struggle with.
