Lankenau High School is an urban, special-admissions program for students who thrive in a small, family-like environment. We are a high school of approximately 350 students and staff, located in the hills of Upper Roxborough. All students are transported from their neighborhoods around Philadelphia to our front door in order to access a rich curriculum. Our student body is serious and goal-directed, maintaining an average daily attendance of over 90%. Lankenau HS does not have many options for sports on campus-there is no gymnasium. The students and I desire to increase and promote a healthy and fit lifestyle. I want to turn half of the current Physical Education room into a fitness room. I want to have weights, weight benches, and machines the students deserve. With your support, we can transform this room into a first-class fitness center to promote after school sports and fitness for all students. Thank you.
