Thirty minutes a day is the minimum amount of time Kindergarten through 5 students should be read to. Members of my student-led club have agreed to dedicate reading out loud to elementary students weekly. They have researched local elementary schools that have expressed a need for student voices to read the books. Because of the current pandemic, my students do not have the option to visit these elementary schools in person. My students would like to organize virtual storytime days. These books would assist with enhancing the literary skills of the elementary students.
