Hi there! I am a STEM lab "specials" teacher, which means I teach all Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade students in my school (over 600 kiddos). We are just outside of Athens, GA (Go 'Dawgs!). STEM lab (Teachers and their acronyms, right? :) stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We might even add some STEAM to our lessons and incorporate Art as well! STEM skills are so important, and it's such a fun privilege to teach these sweet babies! A common theme and vital component of every activity we do is critical thinking and problem solving skills through inquiry, hands-on experiments, and messy fun! Students constantly collaborate and work in groups to accomplish their laboratory roles! There's never a dull moment, as students are working hard to complete activities that reinforce skills they are learning in the academic classroom. My kiddos and I appreciate your consideration and support.
