The children in my room this year are blessings. This is their first 'real year' of school and their curiosity is amazing! Their minds are like little sponges and they can't get enough. My school is an IB World school and because of that we are able to focus on topics that affect others such as the earthquake in Haiti, the Make a Wish Foundation, and even celebrating and exploring other cultures. Every year we 'travel to another country for a week.' This year it is South Africa! It makes me proud to see my children able to speak and have the knowledge of these worldly issues. I like to make our learning come to life-technology is the ticket!
