My students are in an inclusive early childhood setting that serves children from ages 3-5. My classroom is home to 30 students throughout the day, serving half students with learning needs specific to Autism and half typically developing peer models. The students with Autism in my classroom attend integrated preschool for half of the day and are in my classroom the rest of the time to support their specific learning needs. This is our second year for the 50:50 peer model inclusive early childhood classroom which provides a great opportunity to establish a fantastic program from the ground up.
