Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, my students participated in virtual learning last year. During virtual learning last year, my district provided teachers with a subscription to a digital learning platform called Nearpod. Nearpod allows me to create my own interactive lessons or use lessons created by other educators. Nearpod is a great resource for increasing student engagement. My students enjoy the videos, polls, quizzes, virtual reality field trips, and other interactive features of Nearpod. Although we are learning in person again, I am continuing incorporate digital learning and use Chromebooks for our daily lessons. Unfortunately, the district did not renew our subscription, but I would like to continue to use Nearpod with my students. I am currently using the free version of Nearpod, but it has limited features. My students and I would appreciate your support so that we are able to continue to engage in fun and interactive learning!
