I am a first grade teacher of 25 loving, happy, and creative students. My school is located in the heart of Downtown Cincinnati. Many of the first graders in my class are coming from poverty stricken homes. These are my students who worry about small things like, having their school supplies all the way to their big worries such as, staying warm in the winter or where their next meal will come from. However, all of my students are dedicated and passionate about learning regardless of their home life. I work very hard to instill a love of learning in each and every one of my students. I do this by using hands-on and engaging curriculum while encouraging cooperative experiences as often as possible. I want my students to leave my first grade classroom with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful for many years. Thank you in advance for any donations, my students and I cannot thank you enough!
