My students are truly a wonderful group. Some students come to our K-6 Title 1 school from the middle income surrounding neighborhood, but many more are brought by the six school buses from the apartments and shelters on the other side of the bridge. But when they come together, it doesn't matter to them where they come from. They are supportive and kind and genuinely try to give their best effort every day.
