Our students enjoy centers in our library, but using building materials and makerspace materials, they will be learning about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Building bridges, designing models with K’NEX Education sets will help to open up their minds. Our students will have opportunities to explore with materials that may not be readily available to them at home. They will learn how to use their creativity to create projects and solve problems. Including STEM in our library time will give me an opportunity to discuss careers in these fields and give students a chance to learn about careers where you are working hands-on.
