Spring Run Elementary is a highly innovative school that focuses on STEAM based learning, technology innovation in the classroom, and puts current best practices to use every day. The staff at our school work hand in hand with the parents and surrounding community to provide a safe, fun, and highly engaging learning environment. My teaching philosophy is to engage students through innovative teaching practices and through active movement. I believe the more children are able to get up and move throughout the day, the most successful they will be. I try to incorporate active learning across all curricular areas to keep kids healthy, happy, and highly engaged. I am extremely excited to have a brand new group of third graders enter my classroom in September and I plan to provide them with fun, motivating, and engaging learning experiences every day that they join me as a member of my classroom family!
