My students are a diverse group of children that are enthusiastic learners, respectful, and support each other in daily tasks. This class is both economically and ethnically dissimilar. They create a rich cross-section of our district make-up. My students are curious and inquisitive and always seem interested in things they do not understand. They are your typical first grade class with personalities that create a vibrant, energetic, and active collection of dispositions who are engaged in learning. They are supportive of one another, especially with my autistic student. My school has developed into a high achieving academic setting that supports student learning through intervention mechanisms designed to engage and stimulate student growth. The staff is enthusiastic and dedicated to the success of all students.
