The donations to this project will help to develop a flexible seating environment in my classroom to encourage students to find a comfortable and individualized place to complete their work. Flexible seating arrangements in the classroom setting has proven research to support its relevance, along with the direct correlation to assisting students with special needs. Stability balls, widget stools, hands-on sensory fidget tools, will promote student engagement in the classroom.I will provide additional seating arrangements, sensory materials, and supplies to engage the students in my classroom. Through the addition of stability balls, fidget toys, additional flexible seating options, etc., I will be able to promote a positive learning environment specially designed to my students unique set of needs interests.
