We are a diverse,inclusive classroom located in the suburbs. Our class is diverse in many ways including our academic level, socioeconomic status, and culture. Therefore, I incorporate elements of personalized learning and choice to help meet students individual needs. I use a workshop model in reading, writing, and math. This work includes a mini-lesson, individual work time, and partner work. If you would come into my classroom, you would see students working in groups, having conversations, and playing educational games as well as using technology such as chromebooks to enhance their learning. Class motto: Push yourself, for yourself. District mission: Empowering a community of learners and leaders.
