Implementing Lego Bricq Motion Prime Sets will provide students with the opportunity to improve social, emotional skills, reinforce the for 4Cs of 21 Century Learning (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity), and cover many Nevada Academic Content Standards. Lego Bricq Motion Prime Sets allow students to learn physical science engagingly as they work through lessons to reinforce Newton's Laws of Motion within real-world applications. These lessons cover all of the Next Generation Science Standards and Science & Engineering Practices of the Next Generation Science Standards. In addition, the Nevada Academic Contents Standards in Informational Reading and Math Measurement & Data will be covered. Students work in teams to build mobile structures which demonstrate each law of motion. While doing so, they engage in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity, which are the skills needed for success in many areas of life, thus supporting their social and emotional needs. This project will benefit my students in numerous ways! Thank you for taking the time to read over my project.
