My students live in a rural, agricultural county in Georgia. They are the best students, in my opinion, because they are so eager to explore the unknown world around them. Not many of my students are well traveled, however I believe my students learn the most from their life experiences. I would love to create a classroom environment that was able to bring little pieces of the world to them through literature. My students may never be able to go on out-of-state vacations or over-seas adventures, but a good book can bring so much to life for them!
