Students in my school need a nurturing hand to show their worth. Many have trouble passing standardized tests. Many don't know appropriate ways to act around adults because they aren't around many. As students at the second-poorest school in the county, my students need to refine many of their life skills in addition to acquiring intensive basic education. These kids are good kids, but sometimes they just can't see that potential in themselves because there are too many negative factors in their life. With the support of school faculty and administration, it is the school's goal to provide a safe, enjoyable education for some amazing students.

About my class
