I work in a high needs school. I co-teach, which means that half of my students are classified for special education. For this school year, I am "looping" with my students from last year. I am very excited for the opportunity to work with students two years in a row because I feel that it will greatly benefit them and me. I already know so much about them and we will be able to start in September already comfortable with one another and ready to learn. That being said, I know from last year, that many of my students have sensory needs. It is my hope that through this project, some of those needs can be met for my students to help them be more successful each day. Last year, I felt that I spent so much time trying to meet these needs without resources that I was not as successful that I wanted to be. I am optimistic that I will be able to help my students get their needs met and also challenge them academically.
