My students are generous, caring children who love to welcome the "new kid." They love to move around and get their hands busy on projects and activities. Many come from poor areas of the inner-city and love the outdoor spaces of their suburban school. As a school, we struggle to push children toward proficiency. We teach them to take ownership of their learning and they love to show you the strides they make!
