One thing that we know will get our students motivated and interested while finding commonalities with peers is music! We love incorporating technology and music in our PE classes. We also use different sounds as signals that students know mean to start to clean up or line up. We love using music that fits in with our units and use it to signal rotations for activities. We also do a dance unit every year. In order to do that, we need a good sound system to use. The speaker that we are currently using is hanging on by a thread. It has connection issues and no longer holds a charge. We see two classes at a time for each grade level and with our new socially distanced face to face model, we will need the ability to move our speaker to other areas of our court as well as be able to amplify our voices to reach every student at the same time with instructions. Due to our tight budget, we would not be able to afford to purchase this equipment on our own, so we are asking for your help! We use our portable speaker for everything! And since we are always outside (no gyms for elementary school) it is important that we have a reliable system that we can use for years to come.
