Our K-5 school is located on the Monterey Peninsula. We have about 420 students. My fourth grade classroom is a place where students learn through experience in cooperative groups. Our class make up is diverse and includes many Title 1 students and second language learners. Last year, we learned about our ecosystem through lecture, text books, and guest speakers. This year, my students and I want to get our hands dirty. We are looking for a lab that will teach us about dissection and allow us to be real scientist.
