Every morning students come in from the buses bright eyed and ready to learn. My students come from a small rural town in the Mississippi Delta. They come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs in the classroom. Students in my classroom face many challenges that come with growing up in a high poverty, rural town but we REFUSE to let our challenges hold us back from reaching our goals and achieving our dreams!
