Having the privilege of working in a high needs middle school high school grades 6 thru 12 setting has made me a better teacher. Our population is mostly spanish about 75 % of the students get free lunch. Teaching the students through the grades getting to know them and being able to differentiate to each students needs has made it possible for me to raise the bar on student achievement. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a students face light up with a smile. The pride they feel for finishing their assignment and the joy they exhibit as they show their work is priceless. With budget cuts and the lost of teacher's choice monies from the department of education makes it very important for donors to step forward and make a difference. Please consider helping students who need to have all the opportunities possible to make a impact on their learning...Thank You
