I would like to use these LCD writing tablets to increase my students' writing skills during small group instruction, as well as for individual practice. The boards will be engaging, fun, and use less consumable resources as pencil and paper. Students can practice writing letters, words, and phrases over and over without consuming dry erase markers and with less mess. Teaching my students to be good stewards of our world is important to me. Writing is an integral part of literacy development. Students learn to encode (write the sounds they hear), before they learn to decode (read the sounds they see written).These boards will give my students the practice they need to foster automaticity, and foundational skills for writing and reading.
